History of the SWOSSAA CREST

A Blenheim District High School student, Andrew Pill, designed the SWOSSAA Crest, emblematic of a SWOSSAA Championship, in 1962. Andrew’s design was selected from over 100 entries.

The CORN represents Agriculture

The WHEEL represents Industry

The TORCHBEARER represents Athletic Competition

This design appears on all ribbons, medals and plaques awarded to SWOSSAA Champions.
